Club SEK has been available to the educational community of SEK since 1987 and is open to all: parents, teachers, students, former students and friends. Its aim is to improve the quality of free time with cultural activities, sports and other leisure pursuits. It covers an area of 100,000 square metres and boasts excellent indoor and outdoor facilities.
Club SEK is located in the Urbanización Villafranca del Castillo (Madrid) next to SEK-El Castillo and the Camilo José Cela university. Its main facilities and activities include:
- Racket Sports 10 tennis courts, 4 paddle courts, 2 squash courts and one multipurpose court. Levels: Beginners, Improvers and Advanced. Tournaments: Club SEK Tennis Tournament, Madrid Juniors Championship, Tennis Junior League, SEK Tennis Open, Nike Clinics and Tournament, and others.
- Horse-Riding Covered riding school with tiered seating, grass competition course, approved sand dressage arena with warming up area, sand track for lunge rein, sand training arena and 120 stalls. Activities: basic horse riding, dressage, jumping, hacking, trekking, etc. Tournaments: Infanta Elena Trophy for Ponies, horse-riding clinics, Epiphany Jumping Tournament, International Pony Jumping Tournament, International Junior Horse Jumping Contest, etc.
- Swimming Pool Heated swimming pool. Swimming for Beginners (0-3 years), Learners, Improvers, Competition level. Galas: Federation competitions.
- Gymnasiums Weight training, aerobics, fitness, etc.
SPORTS SCHOOLS Includes tennis, horse-riding, paddle, weight training and Pony Club. For children, youngsters and adults at different levels and disciplines, from elementary to competition.
SEK HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTRE The Club hosts swimming and tennis High Performance Schools for pupils and students of the SEK Schools and the Camilo José Cela university respectively.
CATERING SERVICE The restaurant and cafeteria are open all year, with facilities for celebrations, conferences and conventions, etc.
