Extra curricular activities

Extra curricular activities carried out within the school day:

- Artistic Schools (music-violin, guitar, piano-theatre and arts and crafts)

- English School in collaboration with International House

- ICT school

- Speech therapy and learning strategies

- Astronomy and Nature Club and Happy SEK

- Schools organised by the Camilo José Cela University

There are some other activities carried out at the school such as Newspaper workshop, English and French interactive programmes, arts and crafts, oratory, astronomy, model making, MOS certificate and computer design.

Sports activities

Activities carried out within the school day: swimming (from one year old onwards), football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, paddle, rollerskating and handball. Extra curricular activities: tennis, paddle, minitennis, minipaddle, skiing club, scooba diving, and on Saturdays matches and tournaments (basketball, indoor football, swimming, chess and aerobics)

- Skiing Week: in Valdesquí (Madrid), Sierra Nevada (Granada), Astún o Candanchú (Pyrenees).

- Green Weeks: in Cazorla (Jaén), Doñana (Seville), Lérida, Asturias, Gredos, Naturavila and the farm school.

Volunteer work

It should be highlighted the collaborations with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, Cotolengo, Doctors without Borders Association, the Red Cross, the Mother Teresa de Calcuta Foundation and Coprodeli. Students participate in a marathon to raise funds for these associations, the Christmas campaign, students organise a market to raise funds and the Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) activities as part of the Diploma Programme.

Enviromental activities

Reforestation of the Navacerrada area and recycling courses.

Special Events

The school celebrates the European Quality Week every year, Road Safety Campaigns, the Book Week, the Environmental Week, Open days, Vive tu colegio, Sports Day, 12 hour indoor football tournaments and the day of San Estanislao de Kostka.
