INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES
- European programme Sócrates/Erasmus: allows the mobility of students between universities from the countries members of the European Union.
- Tempus programme: promotes the cooperation with Central and Oriental Europe.
- Fipse programme: develops university exchange with North American universities.
- Med campus programme: facilitates the interchange of university students with Mediterranean countries that are not members of the European Union.
- Alfa programme: promotes university cooperation between Latin American and Spanish institutions to share academic activities such as research or teaching.

ACADEMIC STRUCTURE
Faculties and Colleges
They are the places in charge of the organization and management of academic certificates. The JUNTAS DE FACULTAD and ESCUELA SUPERIOR are the government and representation organs of those centres.
The UCJC is divided in:

Departments
The Departments are, in charge, and directly responsible, for the teaching activity and research of their corresponding areas of knowledge. They are the neuralgic centres of the University. The specific activity of the Departments can recommend the creation of different scientific areas inside of them. The Councils are the government organs of the Departments and their functions are, among others, the scheduling and organization of the teaching and the investigation related to their area or areas of knowledge.

- STUDENTS INFORMATION
The time for pre-registration in the "Universidad Camilo José Cela" is open from the 4th of March of the year 2005. The pre-registration form will be available at the "Secretaría de Alumnos" (Students Secretary) of the University, by calling the 91 815 31 31, or through the UCJC Web Service (http://www. ucjc.edu).
Requisites
- To fill in the pre-registration form at the Students Secretary, or previously.
- 120 € to open the student's report, payable in the "Banco Santander Central Hispano", code 0049, branch office 5172, control digits 32 and account number 2610089303, or at the Student's Secretary.
- Academic Certification or photocopy stamped by the Centre where the student pursued his/her studies, containing the marks obtained in High School or equivalent.
ADMISSION TESTS
When and where can you take them?
The admission tests and the interviews will take place inside the University Campus on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from the 4th of March to the 31st of October (except August's Saturdays).
To obtain a date for these tests you have to call the number 91 815 31 31 and send, or bring to the UCJC, the required documents.
The admission tests will also take place in other cities provided that the number of students wanting to take them is big enough.
Approximately ten days after the tests, the Admissions Department will email the results to the students with the registration instructions in case of a favourable result.
What are the admission tests like?
These admission tests have the function of orienting lecturers and tutors about our future students. They are carried out by Psychologists and they last about one hour and fifteen minutes. These admission tests consist of several common exercises for all degrees, and some specific ones.
Shared tests:
- Personal interview
- Ability test
- Foreign language test (English, French or German)
Specific Tests:
- Communication studies, Psychology, and Teaching: Reading and writing about an up-to-date topic.
- For Architecture studies: Graphic expression exercise
- For Computer Engineering: Test on computer knowledge
HOW TO ENROLL
Once the admission has been confirmed, it is possible to apply for a place in our University. To do so, 300'60 €, which will be discounted from the total of the final registration, must be paid. This guarantees a place in our University for the next academic year.
ECTS European Credits Transfer System
REGISTRATION
To have the registration done in the first year of the degree, the students must have passed the UCJC admission test.
FIRST YEAR REGISTRATION
Those students joining the University for first time have to register for the whole 1st. year.
SECOND YEAR REGISTRATION, OR CONSECUTIVES
The registration of those students starting the second year or consecutives will only consist of the college credits they choose. The minimum of college credits per year is 45.
If the students come from other University, they will have to attach the following information:
- Receipt of having applied for the transfer student record from the original University.
- In case of applying for the validation of studies, the Validation Commission will positively solve the student record, if the academic contents of the programmes of the subjects are equivalent to the ones at the UCJC (at least in a 70%). In this case, the students will have to pay for the validated credits or adapted ones, with a 75% discount from the established price.
The students that already have a degree do not need to ask for the transfer student record.
They will have to show the diploma, or the receipt of having paid for its printing.
PERIOD OF REGISTRATION
The registration of those students who have all the required documents can be done during the months of June and July.
For those students who have to wait until September to know previous results, the registration period ends the 31st of October.
TRANSFER STUDENT RECORD
The transfer of student record will have to be applied to the original University during the time it decides, showing the documentation that proves the admission in the "Universidad Camilo José Cela"
Validations
Those students that want to continue their studies at the UCJC, after having started the at any other University, must apply for the correct admission at the UCJC, and must have the admission tests done to join the "Universidad Camilo José Cela".
Once the admission is done, the students will fill the validation applying form, which will be studied by the Validations Commission.
The Validation Commission will positively solve the student's record, if the academic contents of the programs of the subjects are equivalent to the ones at the UCJC, at least in a 70%.
